Bryan Donkin Slam Shut Valves are specifically designed to
protect downstream equipment from either under or over pressure
conditions. For instance, a slam shut can be used to mechanically
isolate a gas system should the pressure exceed a given value
(over pressure cut off or OPCO). A slam shut can also be used
to mechanically shut off a gas system should the pressure
fall below a given value which may happen if a gas line is
severed (under pressure cut off or UPCO). In addition, slam
shuts can be fitted with thermal links that will shut the
valve in the case of a fire. Models 209 and 309 series are
available incorporated with many of our pressure regulating
valves as an option to enhance the regulators features, or
independently mounted on its own body. Use with confidence
with natural gas and all other non-corrosive gases.

Model 303
Description : Designed to safeguard gas
distribution systems, normally installed upstream of

Model 304
